Control details

The operating system is end-of-life and does no longer receive updates

How to solve

Lynis detected that the operating system has reached its end-of-life. The vendor of the operating system does no longer provide updates. This means that newly discovered vulnerabilities or security issues can't be patched using a normal software update. The suggested action is to upgrade the system or deploy a new system and migrate the software and data.
